Farm to School and Farm to Early Care initiatives focus on three main tenets: local purchasing, gardening, and food and agriculture education.
IATP is proud to have championed and supported Farm to School and Farm to Early Care in Minnesota for more than 10 years, through evaluation, program support, technical assistance and policy advocacy.
We approach our work from a systems perspective.
IATP understands the interconnection between agriculture, trade and climate.
We see how interrelationships between issues within complex societal structures make it challenging to effect change but also open powerful opportunities.
We ask who has the power? Who wins and loses? Who is at the table when decisions are made?
We identify opportunities for big changes within trade, agriculture and climate policy. And we propose bold solutions that will bring us closer to our vision.
